Lenovo is there at every section in the market, from high end flagships to low end entry level phones. Lenovo A859 is a 2014 model; it's an entry level device with very good specs in comparison to its price.

    Design

For an entry level phone, it looks suitable. The phone is made of plastic, has a glossy plastic back cover and a metal looking front frame. As for the dimensions, they are 142 x 72.5 mm and 9.2 mm thick and the phone weighs about 163.3g. The phone is suitable for one hand use and it is pocket friendly, and it is available in colors black and white.

Lenovo A859 is and low end phone, but it will provide a suitable performance with basic usage. The phone has Lenovo UI and it operates on android Jelly bean 4.2m, which could be considered to be one of the cons of it, but since it's a 2014 model it was okay back then. As for the processor, it has a Mediatek quad-core 1.3GHz processor, which will perform well enough for apps and games, but you might experience some slowness or lag due to the small RAM space which is 1GB only. The internal memory is 8GB only, which is very limited, and you will have around only 5GB free for use, but you can add an external memory card up to 32GB; and it's a good feature in Lenovo phones that you can choose to save the apps either on the internal memory or the memory card.LenovoA859 perform

As for connectivity and communication, the phone supports 2G and 3G networks, and is a dual-sim phone btw. You will get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connections available as well. and lastly, the battery is a 2250 mAh one, that can last up to 10 hours on 3G, it's not long enough, but you can adjust your power consumption and also have charger, just in case.

    Display

The display on the Lenovo A859 is a 5.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive screen with HD resolution, 1920x720 pixels and a picture density of 294 pixels per inch, which is very good for viewing high resolution videos and games. The viewing angles on this phone are good enough to play games that require little screen tilting.Lenovo A859

    Camera

Usually, entry level phones come with an average quality camera, usually a 5 megapixel one, but here there is an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash. But the front camera is only a 1.6 megapixel one, which will be good enough only for video chats and voice calls.LenovoA859 back
