    Microsoft Lumia 535

    Pros: Big screen, economical price, good performance
    Cons: low resolution screen, small internal memory

    Lumia is now the name for Microsoft windows smartphones, and the debut was with the Lumia 535, a low budget phablet that will be a merit in mid range phones.


    Like usual lumia phones, the design is almost the same, but the polycarbonate back cover has been replaces with a glossy plastic one.  The phone's dimensions are 140.2 x 72.4 mm and it's 8.8 mm thick and weighs 149gms.  The phone is good choice for those who like big screens but not too big. The phone comes in lumia vibrant colors, Orange, green, white, blue, gray, black.

    The phone is operated by Windows phone operating system, version 8.1. The processor is a quad-core 1.2GHz with internal memory of 8GB, in addition to 15GB of free storage on Microsoft OneDrive, this will provide good performance for multitasking and games as well. The RAM is 1GB, and you can add an external memory card up to 128GB. The phone supports 3G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and DLNA connections. Lumia 535 has Lumia’s known voice command helper, Cortana, and also allyour favorite apps are now available for windows phones. Finally, the battery is a 1905 mAh one that can work for 13 hours on 3G and 75 hours of music playing.

    Other than Lumia 1520, the Lumia 535 is a new phablet that has the name of Lumia. The screen is a 5.0 inch IPS LCD, but with a low resolution of 540 x 960 and screen density of 220 pixel per inch, but it's got Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen will not provide HD content quality but it's suitable enough for simple games, social networking and web surfing, in addition to the basic smartphone tasks. The display is a multi-touch display, but it has been reported that useres will face some issues with the multi-touch detection and also the low senstivity, but Microsoft promised to provide software update to fix this bug.newnewlumiafeat


    Lumia 535 has 2 5megapixels cameras, the main camera has f2.4mm lens, which makes it better for taking pictures in low light , and as for the front one it’s got a wide lens which will make it easier to take group selfies. And as for video shooting, both can capture videos @30fps

    Bottom line

    Microsoft’s first smartphone is outstanding , not by a super design, or magnificent performance or even a breakthrough technology, but its simplicity. It is providing good performance disregarding of it's appearance features.
